My Story
Hi! My name is Anh, I was born in Hanoi, Vietnam in 2008 to the name Lan Anh Bui, which is where my business name comes in. Lan in Vietnamese translates to orchid hence my logo and business name. In 2009 I was adopted by an Irish couple and immigrated here, to Ireland a couple of months later.
When I was a child just finishing primary school and stuck in the midst of Covid-19 I decided to take up a hobby I saw online, UV-resin jewellery. I bought all my supplies online and made my first attempt. Little did I know this would be the beginning of my very own continuously growing business.
After many, many months of trial and error I finally got the hang of it. A friend of mine then reached out to me and asked if I would potentially be interested in selling my creations and I agreed. Being a teenager I hadn't thought it through nearly enough and the next thing I knew, I was selling my jewellery the following summer.
When the lockdowns faded out, a handmade craft market started in my village and I decided to try it out. Little did I know, I ended up being one of six founding members of The Haven Craft Market in Dunmore East. My business has since grown and still is growing. Since April, 2025 my business is registered with the CRO (Companies Registration Office).
My little creations are expressive, some can be simple, elegant, and minimalistic, while others are quirky, bold, and 'out there'. Equally, I love them all so I'm always a little sad to let them go. However I am so excited that other people get to enjoy them and cherish them just as much as I do.
All jewellery products are hand-poured using high-quality UV-resin, thoughtfully selected mica powder and liquid pigments (colouring), flowers both hand-picked and imported, glitters from local stores and charms from fellow online small businesses.
No two pieces of jewellery are ever exactly the same, because you're one of a kind and your jewellery should be too. ♡
